Cpl. Josh Benton
Cpl. Joshua Benton graduated from the Southeast Missouri State University Law Enforcement Academy in 2002. Cpl. Benton has been with the Dexter Police Department since April 2003. Prior to taking a position at the Dexter PD, Cpl. Benton began his Law Enforcement career as a reserve officer at the Poplar Bluff Police Department in 2002. Benton currently serves as one of three shift supervisors for his squad and has attended several law enforcement training seminars in his career. Benton along with his wife and two children reside in Dexter.
