SRO Lori O'Dell
Lori O’Dell began her career with the Dexter Police Department as a reserve communications officer in August 2001. She became a full time employee in March of 2002. She completed the Missouri Class C Law Enforcement Certification through the Missouri Sheriff’s Training Academy in 2000 and the Class B Law Enforcement Certification through the S.E.M.O. Law Enforcement Academy in 2006. She completed the D.A.R.E. Instructor Certification in 2006, as well as becoming a certified School Resource Officer with the National Association of School Resource Officers. In 2007 she obtained her Advanced School Resource Officer Certification. Aside from being a patrolman for the Dexter Police Department, O’Dell ensures the safety and security of the Dexter Public School District and leads D.A.R.E. instruction for 5th grade students.
